Please read these terms carefully. They set out the basis on which you may use this website, buy anything offered through it, and work with us. By using the site or booking with us you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Inner Earth Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15803001, registered office Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Inner Earth Ltd. “You” means the person using this website, buying from it, or working with us.

You can contact us at adam@innerearth.co.uk.

2. Changes to these terms and to the site

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and the date above shows when it was last changed. Please check this page when you return to the site, because by continuing to use it you accept the terms as they stand at that time.

We may also change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website, and we do not guarantee that the site or any part of it will always be available or free of interruption.

3. Using this website

You may use this website for your own personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse it, which includes not attempting to gain unauthorised access to it, not introducing anything malicious to it, and not using it in any way that is unlawful or that interferes with anyone else’s use of it.

The content on this site is provided for general information. It is not advice, and it should not be relied on as advice. While we take care over what we publish, we do not warrant that everything on the site is complete, accurate or current.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this website, and all session content, programme materials and methods, including text, articles, images, audio, video, downloadable materials and the names Inner Earth, The Inner Freedom Method, Break The Anxiety Loop, The Evolving Man and The Awakening Woman, belongs to us or is used by us under licence. It is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

You may read, print and store content for your own personal use. You may not copy, republish, distribute, sell, licence, record, adapt or make any commercial use of it, and you may not share it with anyone else, without our written permission.

5. What we offer

We offer online hypnotherapy and life transition work, including one to one sessions and programmes such as The Inner Freedom Method, alongside workshops, recorded content and downloadable materials.

Our services are complementary. They are intended to sit alongside, and not to replace, medical or psychological treatment. Section 8 sets this out in full.

A free discovery call is an introductory conversation to help us both decide whether the work is a good fit. It is not a therapy session and it does not create any obligation on either side.

6. Sessions and programmes

Booking and payment. Sessions and programmes are booked by arrangement with us, usually following a discovery call. Payment, or the first payment where a programme is paid in instalments, secures your booking. Fees are agreed with you before any work begins.

Your client agreement. Where you book a programme, including The Inner Freedom Method, we will provide a separate client agreement before the work starts. That agreement covers fees, scheduling, cancellation, confidentiality and the terms of the therapeutic relationship, and where it differs from anything on this page, the client agreement takes precedence.

Cancelling or rearranging an appointment. If you need to cancel or move an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice, and we will refund or reschedule it. An appointment cancelled or moved with less than 24 hours notice is not refundable, although we will do our best to reschedule it where we reasonably can. Where you do not attend an appointment and have not told us beforehand, the full fee is payable.

Your statutory cancellation right. If you book with us online or at a distance you normally have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where your first session falls inside those 14 days, by booking it you ask us to begin within the cancellation period, and if you then cancel we may charge you for the sessions already provided. This does not affect your rights where our service falls short of what was agreed.

Your part in the work. The work depends on what you bring to it, so we ask that you take part openly, tell us about anything in your health or circumstances that is relevant to it, and let us know if something changes.

7. Purchases and digital products

Some products, such as workshop replays, workbooks and audio recordings, are sold through this website as digital content delivered online.

Prices and payment. Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is taken through our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Your purchase is complete when we confirm it by email, and that email will contain your access details.

What you get. When you buy a digital product you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use it for your own private use. You may not share your access link or login, show the content to a group, or copy, download, record, re-upload or redistribute it.

Access. Digital products are delivered by streaming or by download, as described on the relevant page. We will keep access available for as long as the product is offered, and we will give you reasonable notice if that is going to change. You are responsible for having an internet connection and a device capable of accessing the content.

Your right to cancel, and the waiver. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. Because our digital products are made available to you immediately after purchase, by completing your purchase you ask us to supply the content straight away and you acknowledge that you lose that 14 day right to cancel once the content has been made available to you.

Refunds. Where you have lost the right to cancel as described above, purchases are non-refundable. This does not affect your legal rights where digital content we have supplied is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality. If something is wrong with what you have bought, please contact us and we will put it right.

8. The nature of our work

Hypnotherapy is a complementary therapy. It is not medical treatment and it is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric or psychological care.

Nothing on this website, and nothing in any product or programme we offer, is intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition. Our content and our work are not a replacement for advice from your GP or another qualified healthcare professional. If you have a medical or mental health condition, or you are taking prescribed medication, please speak to your doctor. If you are in crisis or you need urgent help, contact your GP, NHS 111, or the emergency services.

Therapy is a collaborative process and individual experiences differ. We make no promise or guarantee of any particular outcome, and any examples, testimonials or client experiences shared on this site describe those individuals and should not be read as a prediction of what will happen for you.

You are responsible for your own decisions and actions, and for the choices you make during and after any work with us.

If you have epilepsy, a psychotic illness, or any other condition for which relaxation, hypnosis or guided audio may not be suitable, please take medical advice before using any of our audio content, and do not listen to any recording while driving or operating machinery.

9. Clients under 18

We work with clients aged 18 and over. Where we agree to work with someone under 18, written consent from a parent or guardian is required before any work begins, and a parent or guardian needs to be contactable throughout.

10. Your information and confidentiality

We take your privacy seriously and we handle your personal information in line with UK data protection law. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what your rights are. Please read it alongside these terms.

What you tell us in a session is held in confidence. We will not pass it on without your consent, other than in the narrow circumstances where the law requires us to or where there is a serious risk to your safety or somebody else’s. Those limits are set out more fully in the client agreement.

11. How we work together

We ask that communication between us stays respectful, in sessions and outside them. Where behaviour towards us is abusive, threatening or discriminatory, we may end the working relationship immediately, and we will refund any fees already paid for sessions that have not taken place.

We may also end the working relationship where we come to believe that what you need sits outside what we can properly offer. If that happens we will tell you why, refund anything paid for work not yet delivered, and point you towards whoever is better placed to help.

12. Links to other sites

This website may link to other websites that we do not control. Those links are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement. We are not responsible for the content of any external site or for anything that happens as a result of your using it.

13. Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights in relation to the services we supply, and for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable, for any loss arising from your use of this website or your reliance on information published on it, or for any business loss, including loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity.

Where we supply you with a digital product, our total liability in connection with that product will not exceed the amount you paid for it.

14. Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything we have provided, please tell us first by emailing adam@innerearth.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond to it properly.

Adam Stansbury is a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society, and complaints about professional conduct may also be raised through the Society’s complaints procedure.

15. Events outside our control

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from something beyond our reasonable control, including illness, technical failure of a third party platform, or loss of internet or power supply. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as we are able, we will take reasonable steps to limit the effect of it, and where we cannot deliver a session we will reschedule it or refund it.

16. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of them continue to apply.

These terms are between you and us. Nobody else has any right to enforce them.

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, and we will tell you in writing if that happens.

If we do not insist that you do something you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking action against you in respect of a breach, that does not mean you do not have to do it, and it does not prevent us from taking action later.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute arising out of them, out of your use of this website, or out of any work we do with you, will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
